Carl on Friday Night Live

A slightly obsessed big brother watching mate of mine just advised me that "the guy in my dp" aka Carl will be singing on Friday Night Live next week...

Did anybody else hear that or is she just mildly confused lol?

I just posted that in the BB thread. I walked back in the room and heard his name but I didn't catch the rest. Looks like he's performing then!!

woohoo!! Yeah, we were at a mate's house and I just caught the end of it as well Kris! They said the theme is going to be 'I love New York' or something like that... It'll be sooooo good to see him again... I've been missing him so much!!! And can't wait to see him play his again!!!!

I will have to write this down to remember it, because I absolutely hate Big Brother, but I will watch it for Carl- I absolutely wouldn't do it for anyone else at all.

Yes I know...people either love Big Brother or hate it!! ;) Maybe you should just tape it Yvonne so that you can fast forward thru the BB bits and just watch Carl!!

Honeyman is really testing my faith now. What must I do to prove my devotion?? Walk through hot coals! Yeah ok no probs. Strap my naked body to a ship's mast during a violent thunderstorm in the north atlantic? Can do. Throw my fav pair of heels into the seething crater of a live volcano? . . . um . . . er . . . OKAY, OKAY!! But nothing will induce me to watch bb!!

ahahaha!! Poor Angeo.... ;) The ultimate sacrifice!!!! lol! FNL is on at 7.30pm over here in SA...not sure about Perth though...I should think it would be on around the same time... And I'm wondering if Carl is going to be on all the way through the show singing snippets of songs? I know in other theme nights they've had bands and dancers etc performing basically at each ad break...wonder if Carl will be doing this or just doing one performance? Whatever it is, it'll be soooo good to see him again!! I'm really going thru some major Carl withdrawal symptoms!!!

Would be funny to see Carl joining in with the games!

Hah! my wish for Carl to go to jazzhole New York might just come true....Carl said he might go next year and introduce waltzing matilda in NY with a bit of modified tune...woohooo!!!! You go boy!!! Ash looked good with the hat, Carl's hair looks somewhat different....and just realized, Carl's just 45 minutes drive from me....oh boy i wish i was there in Dreamworld tonight....but then again not really keen watching BB except perhaps FNL but it's my first time this year to really sat down and watched the FNL because of Carl. He did New York New York really well though....i'm happy Carl is considering New York and hope Las Vegas too as this place was made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. good on you Carl! Wishing you lots and lots and more and more good things coming your way.

Stayed home tonight to watch Carl and tape the show! Yeah monetgo...I do want Carl to do well overseas, but I don't want him to leave us here in Oz!!! How exciting will it be for him to go to New York though!!! Wish him all the very best of good luck when he gets there!! And monet..that wasn't Ash with the hat on! Ashley was sitting up the back on the keyboards...he obviously is a very talented musician as he can play keyboards as well as the trombone!! Plus he is rather gorgeous as well!!!

Anyway, here are the vids of Carl on FNL... Once again, my program has recorded the sound very loud, so just turn your sound down a bit when you play these!! I wish I knew how to fix that!!! Enjoy!! Carl looks and sounds fantastic!!! His hair is sort of fluffed out on the sides!! Cute!!!!

And Yeah monetgo...that guy on guitar that you thought was Ash is actually in a couple of the new pics on Carl's myspace where they're making pancakes!! Must be one of Carl's muso mates!!

Thanks so much for uploading these videos! Carl is looking and sounding amaaazing. And I REALLY hope he wasn't just kidding when he said he'll hopefully be going to NY next year, cuz I live in NY! Ahh, I would seriously freak out and make everyone I know go and see him. lol

I just had the sound turned way up so I could hear exactly when he was to be on, I was going in and out of the room doing stuff, I saw all his appearances- not enough, a whole song or more would have been fantastic, but it was still awesome anyway. Where he belongs though, even though I hate anything to do with BB (not Carl of course), the fact remains- it was prime time television- meaning more exposure to a greater audience. I would know diddly swat about any of the BB contestants. I do know Fitzy though- he is sometimes on Before the Game.

You are right there Yvonne..though not a fan of BB myself too but the exposure for Carl is my only concern too.
