I have all the idol shows from this year recorded on my HD recorder - I want to burn all the shows to DVD, which seems easy enough to do according to my user manual, and then import the DVD contents to my computer so I can edit the shows to get all the bits I want to keep (you know which ones they are! ) and chuck the rest ... then burn the good stuff to DVD so I can watch them on my TV.
