yep jodes i'm agreeing and karen wants to get marcia's autograph on a poster she has of her from 1976 so we are defo going moshpit this week ( last night me, mum and karen stood up the top railing was ok i guess but i liked the moshpit better closer to james hehe)

I am so glad that Nathan and James are still there, I was upset that Toby left and also to hear that James would have been leaving had Toby not decided to go. Last week, I only enjoyed those three and then I find out they were the bottom 3.

God I hope it is Nathan and James in the final now. It won't be, Hayley will be there I guess. I just cannot warm to her, I understood not one word of what she was singing last night, think I have only known one song the whole time and that was the Pink one and I barely know that either.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that if I was Kate cook right now I'd be feeling pretty peeved after Tobys efforts.

I respect what he's done and stuff, but surely, he realised earlier than now he didn't want to be a singer???

But all the best to him, at least James is safe lol.

Well I miss Toby's lovely voice, he was my standout fave, so I am very disappointed that I may not ever hear it again.

Not one of the girls has interested me this year at all.

Anyway I don't think he could go back to teaching his students again this year, because whoever is filling in for him would be on a contract. I have seen the articles on him in tv week and I think it is woman's day or New Idea.

I truly hope he does make music sometime in the future. Meanwhile I am so glad that James is still there, but sad Nathan has gone. I am so sick of the judges esp JD pulling James to pieces. I cannot stand JD at all. James has got more talent in his little finger than that dishrag judge has.

For the first time ever I took more notice of Stan- perhaps it is because I prefer him much more to Hayley, but nowhere near as much as I prefer James.

Yes looking forward very much to Michael Buble mentoring and judging on Sunday night.

Sadly I knew that when James was announced as being safe, it would mean that Nathan was gone.

Oh well my three faves did come into the top five, whatever way you look at it.

I think James is in Trouble this week, he just doesn't seem to be in the same league as Hayley or Stan based on last weeks performances

i actually think hayley is in trouble she has had 2 bad weeks in a row, and the constant putting down of james is ryling up he's fans and they are all voting heaps more to keep him safe. either way stan has got the comp in the bag , although i can't stand him personally.

Well I didn't think Hayley was up to scratch at all, I never ever, ever understand a single word she is singing- not even with the songs that I know,and well she is not a solo performer, each week I sit there and say it time and time again.

The thing is the judges love S and H so much and give James so much damn crap, his age comes up time and time again, it is unbelievable. They have given him little or no praise or even respect and really nothing to work upon,if it is not age, it is song choice, they always find something wrong with him, yet they laud over the other two unbelievably. Are Stan and Hayley perfect, I think not, neither is James of course, but those judges are so biased towards those other two- they try to make us believe those other two are perfect. I have had it with the judges this year, more than any other year they have irritated me immensely. Esp JD.


However I will say that Stan is good, I will give him credit, but that is the most I have sat up and taken notice of him, on Sunday night.

James, as Michael is your idol, listen to him and absorb as much as you can, you will learn so much and be so much better for it. I hope Michael takes a shine to him, esp as he is rumoured to be touring in mid to late 2010. I am sure he will give him constructive critiscism. We have been discussing Michael mentoring James this week over on the idol forum.

In saying all this, I do believe Stan will win it.

Well I don't think Nathan needed to win Idol really, I think that young lad also has what it takes to succeed in whatever avenue he chooses to take in the music world. However I was sad to see him go too.

I don't care what anyone says, I think James is awesome and I am so tired of the judges putting him down, it is old news the age thing, get over it judges, us fans certainly have, because James is way more mature than his 18 years and he impresses me every week. He handles himself so well and I was very impressed with all of his three performances on Sunday evening. No matter what happens, he made top 3, of course by way of Toby exiting, but no matter what, he still would have been top five, but I am so glad he is top three, with the possibility of top 2.

Upon really thinking about it, I would prefer James not to win, because all the way through Idol he has been treated abysmally by JD and Dicko and I don't believe it would change one bit, when the comp is over. Which is a total shame, because I believe he deserves it over the other two- of course they are talented, but I have never ever connected with them. It is not their fault either, I get put off by the constant love for them by JD and Dicko, whereas not a hint of appreciation or real constructive or helpful advice for James. It is appalling, there is always that but in the judging by Dicko, but, but, but, but. Get over it Dicko and JD, your love for those two is wearing thin. They are not perfect either, they have had flaws in their performances too.

James needs to be signed by a label who will nurture his amazing talents and not try to turn him into something he truly is not. It may take more time, but in the end it will be so worth it. Same with Nathan. They could be anything they wanted to be.

I believe even though I was and still am always going to be a fan of Toby's, that James and Nathan were the shining lights of this years Idol comp.

What I don't get is, they hound james about his age, yet hayleys 17 and stan is 19 it doesn't make sense.

I'm a little biased towards Hayley cos I know her, but she is much better when fronting her band, bleached academy.

I think Stan has an awesome voice, but there's just something about it I don't like all that much.

That is awesome that you know Hayley, I have nothing at all against her personally, she seems nice, but I do see her only fronting a band, not solo.

I have preferred listening to James, Nathan and Toby, I can understand every word they sing.

Yeah she's definitely a band vocalist, I think that shows from her constantly doing the same kinda songs,

I want to wish James all the luck in the world, I really liked him as well as Nathan and Toby. I do honestly believe that all three of them have futures in the music world, yes I know Toby is heading back to the classroom,to be the really adored teacher, but I don't believe it spells the end for his music ambitions (whatever they may exactly be at this stage). I am not so keen to watch the GF, save for the fact that all the 12 will be back and Michael Buble will be on again.

I still do believe that Stan will win it.

Does anyone like either of the winners singles, because I don't. Never have really to be completely honest.

in all honesty i would be more inclined to buy hayley single but i dont find it a nessessity and i'm not keen on either of their types of music. fingers crossed for james hope something works out for him.

I found the Grand Finale very boring save for Michael Buble being on and seeing the rest of the final 12 back on stage. I hope something happens for James- I know of a lot of other people (but I don't think they are voters) who loved James, Toby and Nathan like I did. I don't actually know of anyone personally who liked either Stan or Hayley.
