Anyone see that wedding dance that was re-created on DWTS on Sunday night, it has been a massive hit on youtube. Just type in Wedding Dance and it will come up for you.

I have not started watching Idol yet, still watching the Dancing on Channel 7. I adore watching Carmelo partnering Kylie Gillies, he is a wonderful dancer. The other thing I am watching is the Farmers on Channel 9 on Mondays.
I am still in touch with my friend, I found out when his birthday is too, but I missed it by a week, so I put a belated card into the post.

Hi Amby! We've really missed you too.
Your mum said you took a holiday but I didn't realise you were moving into your new home. Congratulations! Here's a housewarming gift ___

Or maybe this is more appropriate ___

Hope to see you on here a lot more again soon.

Yes the banner is gorgeous. I love it! You are so talented Amby. Your new home and holiday must have imbued you with fresh inspiration. Your holiday sounds lovely. Who cares about the cold - more excuse to snuggle up together.
I hope you can find time to come on here regularly again. Get your home computer system set up pronto!

My friend and I look like we are finally getting together, as in a proper first date- but very casual as that is the sort of people we are. I have been told how much he likes me.

Hey Yvonne, Wow - your first date!!!
A T L O N G B L * * D Y L A S T ! H A L L E L L O O O O Y A H !
I was actually thinking about you yesterday and I wondered if there was any chance of you and him getting together now that you're not working together. I was thinking oh boy do I have to come over there to Melbourne and shoot arrows at you two or something? I'm no cupid but I was starting to get a bit frustrated by how long this romance is taking to lift-off.
When is the date? Where are you going?
This is exciting news!
Have a great time darl!

Re: Chit Chat Thread #1
He needs a bomb put under him so to speak, well then again so do I- he had asked me a couple of times during the past month to come out. I said yes during last week and he probably was relieved that I finally said yes to him. Poor guy, even though he didn't ask me out during that time, he did put himself out for me in many ways for so long. He has been so persistent, but never pushy towards me.
We just did lunch and a nice walk along the beach, just casual and quiet, because that is the type of people we are. I do not need to be taken to fancy restaurants or bars. I would just feel so awkward and uncomfortable. Well maybe one day, just for a change, but I reckon I would just end up preferring the casual stuff anyway. I kind of wish he was an AFL follower like me, but you cannot have every thing. As long as he does not try to stop me from going. Well my team is done for the year anyway- the dogs. Grand Final week is good, except my team always gets done in the Prelim Finals- by small margins- this time is was just 7 points.
Good luck to the Saints and Cats on the weekend. Well done to Gary Ablett on finally winning the Brownlow Medal after coming so close these past years. No way did I want him to win last year, not when one of my players ended up winning it. It was so funny when Adam presented the medal to Gary, he kissed him on the top of his shiny dome. Very spontaneous.

The former boss down there reckons my friend is a good man and would be a good catch. He has known him for a few years now. I kept in weekly or maybe even twice weekly contact with him and him me. I am glad I did go out with him, now we shall see where it leads, but we have gotten on well from pretty much the beginning. He adores to stir me, in a good way of course and I adore stirring him in the same way. It was like I had just seen him yesterday, but it has been over two months .

Beach walks, quiet, persistent but not pushy AND a man who doesn't follow AFL!? Well he sounds like a one in a million - quite a catch Yvonne
And not being an AFL follower must be even more rare for a Melburnian man! But I'm sure he'll allow you your diversions, one can't escape the footy in Melbourne really anyway can one?

Re: Chit Chat Thread #1
Well yes he kind of had to put up with me being a little(or a lot) upset over my Doggies getting put out in the Preliminary Final,by the Saints, the previous night. It is not only because I love them so much, but I really really do want to be able to go to a Grand Final someday at the MCG. I am sure he wouldn't stop me from going, well he had better not. Usually it is the other way round isn't it, but truly there are many many women following AFL these days. I am just one of many. The doggies have many female followers, just as an example. He would have to put up with it, because I have been following them for years and years. I couldn't follow anyone else at all.
I watched the GF on Saturday afternoon, well done to the Cats on a fantastic season and also to the Saints on a fantastic season. Hey guess what, I picked the Norm Smith medallist as well- Paul Chapman. I had him in mind, simply because he always gives the Dogs an extremely hard time, but he is also a player I enjoy watching when they are not playing us.

Well I know of a few people who are very happy that I have finally gone out with him, they have told me so. They have known him for years. I do also know that we are very good friends, whether anything really comes out of it who knows, although he loves cuddling and putting his arms around me and giving me shoulder massages. He is lovely and I do know that I feel good being around him, simply because I can be myself with him, which is the way it should be.

I've been driving around today looking for Vampire teeth as my girls decided last minute to ditch the witch costumes and go Twilight on me (not that they really know about the latest Twilight fad .... I think...) anyhow we finally got a set at a costume shop but there was only one set left so they'll have to share!! before you go 'ew gross', it's a set of upper and lower teeth so I'm gonna separate them, haha.
Halloween is always a sad time for me since a dear friend of mine died 31st October a few years ago and I never got to say goodbye to him properly as he was in Singapore. Being such a significant date it always reminds me.
Happy Halloween all you forum Ghouls!

Hi Amby
Yes we really missed you on the last two chats with Carl. Three chats if you count the time he stood us up.
That's good news Yvonne. So have you gone on some dates? He must feel more in a position to woo you now he has his new job. Look forward to hearing about developments!

Oh good to see you back here Monet, we've missed you so much! What is that darn Cupid up to? Firing his arrows recklessly on this forum and diverting Honeyman's fans attention elsewhere? We I'm glad to hear it's love and not work that's been occupying all your time! Hope to see you back here more often!

Thanks for the gorgeous new banner Amby and the nice fresh new photo of Carl at the bottom of the board.
Sorry you SA people are suffing heatwaves again. Did you say you had a swimming pool? Time to make good use of it I'd say.
Talking about extreme weather ....went to see 2012 last night. My heart was just thumping all through the action which was most of the movie!
No actual plot, just a nail-biting rollercoaster ride!

Re: Chit Chat Thread #1
Oh things seem to have stepped up between myself and my man too, cupids arrow is having a good time right now it seems. He is so gorgeous, so romantic- I will forgive his wandering hands with me, because it was romantic and besides he would know from me for sure, if I was unhappy with anything he was doing, I have made that very clear. It has been more since we have gotten closer and closer, we have shared some special, tender romantic moments recently, but the only downside is, he cannot see me as much as he would like to, he has an elderly parent that is not so good at the moment,he is ok, but he could be better and I have no doubt his dad is missing his wife terribly and he is taking care of him also, as well as working. I personally think he is doing a damn fine job of it and being a really loving, supportive and wonderful son to his dad. I wish he lived closer to me, but you cannot have everything, I appreciate any time at this stage that he can give me, because I do know what he has to do outside of his working hours.
