Chit Chat Thread #1
Heya guys,
I thought I would open up this thread. It's just a general chit chat thread. You can post what you have been doing, how your day was etc etc? There's one on all the other forums I'm part of and they are very popular.
Well, I'm going shopping today. My boyfriend and I, Ben, are going to do the Grocery Shopping and then we're going to pick out a new watch for my Birthday -- so excited. :):)
What does everyone else have planned?

Good Morning.
Wow, it's been raining so much here in Adelaide... I love it. :)
My computer is facing the window, so I'm able to sit here and look out the window at the rain. :)
I'm not doing much today... probably going to spend my $100 voucher from Big W, that I got from my old work when I left earlier this month. :)

What? It's raining? I haven't looked out the window yet! *blinks and also rubs sleep from eyes*.
Server at work has been down all weekend so I've not been able to read my emails. That's a bonus right!!? Most of my emails are work anyway. I only have one must-do task today and it involves picking up a baby cot that I lent to a family from Canada with twins, they head home today. Then I'll return it to my mum and dad's shed. Then I might head into Dad's pool room (yes he's really got one) and dig out his old Herb Albert and the Tijuana brass LP to see if he's got the dancing/prancing flea or whatever that tune is called.

Ooh listening to old LPs sounds fun. I'm waiting for the phone call from my boys saying they'll be home from fishing soon - I doubt they would have gone fishing in the rain this morning so they're probably on the track already ... I have about 1 hr to listen to our gorgeous Carl and clean up all the evidence of my night on the 'red' ... I've been in my kitchen once this morning ... not looking forward to the return visit

Heya everyone.
I haven't been doing much today. Done some washing and put it straight into the dryer. :) Praise the lord for dryers.
Gilmore Girls is on TV soon, I might watch that while stuffing my face with lollies or chips. :)

An inspired idea alty. Wait a sec. Ha!! There's one red left in the cabinet- you little ripper. *pops cork*
I had to wade through six hours of my students' rehearsals yesterday - heavy stuff, considering the little buggers (17-20) are smarter than I am.
What the hell is the world coming to... glug
Then this morning I was able to simply let it all go and listen to beautiful Carl singing as though he was holding heaven in his hands. What a great day it's been ever since!!

Re: Chit Chat Thread #1
Decided the rain would hold out this afternoon so didn't stop at the Grandies after all. Went to King's park and the girls clambered all over that enormous big climbing rope thingy. Like the one in Geelong and there's one in Melbourne behind Fed Square (I know my Aussie playgrounds!) I had a bit of a climb myself with earphones firmly implanted in my ears so my Honeyman listening carried on uninterrupted.
Drove home with Honeyman crooning in the car. My girls are getting tired of me saying 'that's the absolutely best version of (insert - Waltzing Matilda; We've only just begun; Girl from Ipanema; etc) Got home and cooked noodles for dinner whilst listening to Honeyman, Stevie Wonder, Michael Buble, Crowded House and George Benson.
Then my fun forumming was cut-short by having to comb out and plait two heads of extremely long freshly shampood hair (at least they do their shampooing themselves now). And now Dearheart has unceremoniously dumped the ironing board and a pile of shirts right next to me here as I sit in my favourite laptop spot! Well at least I can iron and listen to Honeyman at the same time.
Best get on with it. Ho hum.

Good Morning.
I called in sick to work today.... mainly an annoying cough and a slight headache.
Feeling ok atm. Told my boss I was going to go to the doctors, but I think I'll be alright -- hope she accepts that....

Good Morning. Well, I'm feeling alot better today. So I'm heading off to work in 15 minutes. :)
I'm going to get the heaters cranking... it's FREEZING outside.
What does everyone else have planned for today?

I will be doing housework...
Baking sausage rolls, spinach and feta pastries, and oatmeal cookies.
Oh, and getting ready to move house on Friday!
Tonight, I am out at a Samhain dinner with one of my groups.
Have fun!
I know I shall.
Hugs.

Hello everyone.
I had a good day, it was rather quiet at work, which was nice considering I'm still getting back on my feet.
It's my Birthday in 3 sleeps!! Soooo excited!

I find making dinner sooooo tedious. Just one of many tedious chores one has to do every day. I cooked pies tonight.
Chickens go in, pies come out.
Oooh What kind of pies?
Apple pies
Oooh my favourite
Chicken pies you great dolt!
