Favourite Judge From Idol

It has to be Marcia for obvious reasons, I used to sit on the fence regarding her as a judge , even though I think she is an awesome singer and entertainer, but yeah, thankyou so much Marcia for believing in Carl and putting him into the top 12. Also for putting in Natalie- because I love Nat too.

I would not have been watching Idol this year, had those two not been put into the top 12, I am serious.

Great idea Goldie!! How do you do it!? I have mixed opinions about the judges, but I chose Dicko.

Mine went to Kyle this year... I hope he's on next years show as he's the only one I find who is remotely amusing out of all of them (even if clothing/Nat comments were a bit off..although I guess he was trying to help, but maybe do it off camera?) So Kyle gets my vote both entertainment value and for being a good judge as well...always gives his honest opinion and not just making harsh comments for the tv.

Marcia and Dicko come in as even second. Marcia as I think she is the most encouraging of them all, even though she doesnt always speak her mind but I think she only does that so as not to hurt the contestants feelings. Dicko... he comes across as really passionate for the job and does his best to give advice, even if it is sometimes a bit harsh!

I wont even comment on Holden...

Marcia is a second for me too. The only thing I don't like about her, is she always has something nice to say about someone!! Of course that's a great thing too, but I don't think I have ever heard a negative comment from her. Even the negative comments mean something! And a big thumbs up to her for believing in our Carl ;)

yeah... you can always tell when she hasn't liked something very much as she asks the contestant how they feel about their performance! If she said that to me, I'd know I'd disappointed her!

I chose Dicko. I think he talks alot of sense, even if he sometimes expresses it in offensive ways, and he DOES put up with sitting next to that idiot Holden all season round;...

oh yeah...forgot about that! Maybe I'd better shift him up to equal first with Kyle!! anyone who could put up with sitting next to Holden all season deserves a medal!!

Kyle's definitely my favourite ... he comes across as the most honest one up there. He pulled up Mark and Dicko for not telling the truth (re the half-tone too high comments) and I think that needed to be said. He also cracked me up after Carl's performance of It's Not Unusual when he said "show us your g-string Marcia" ... I think even Marcia was genuinely laughing at that one

I can't pick a fave they are all a bit weird, and they all have hidden agendas that we unfortunately never get to understand.
So,
Holden - has good and bad years depending on his health, he has a certain something regarding arrangments etc than none of the others add and I kind of like that he's nuts, they need to train him in communications. Less commercially driven than others, more artsy.
Marcia - I used to hate, she treated Chanel Cole dreadfully and can be quite unfair, especially to girls. I love her this year for Carl & for defending poor Ben when everyone was picking on him (that was one weird hidden agenda - why did they pick on Ben so much?)
Kyle- is like the viewers speaking a lot of the time, he can be very hit and miss, he often makes sense, but he is the least knowledgeable,
Dicko - used to love him, this year he was crap, he will improve, very commercially driven.
They need to drop a judge, and have some guest judges.

Yeah, I'd like to see some of the past Idols as a judge! Ohh could that make a new poll?

Idea for a poll - which idols would you like to see/hear singing together, we all wanted a lovely duet for Carl with Nat - shame that never happened.

I would like to see Ben, Carl, Casey, Chanel, and Bobby do something together. Both Ben & Carl claimed Bobby inspired them, 3 of them together would be lovely, they all have lovely smokey/mellow voices.
Chanel is cool with swing, Carl & Chanel together would be nice.

I have no imagination at all and can only think of favourite Carl song for a poll. ;)

I didn't like Bobby much from series four, but that is just me. I was just mainly for Damien Leith. I saw his audition and just kept on from there voting for him.

I do remember Marcia treating Chanel badly, I liked Chanel and she is actually great performing live. So is Daniel Belle, believe me his voice is so much more powerful than it was on Idol and they are both lovely people to meet.

Oh I know who I would love to see also do a duet or whatever would definitely be Hayley Jensen, she was one of my favorites of series 2, I thought she had a gorgeous voice and I voted her through into Idol. She was actually the only one I did vote into the top 12 from that year. I had a few faves from that year as in Daniel B, Anthony, Hayley, Chanel and Courtney- they would have been my ultimate top five.
