The Commonwealth Games-what do you think of them so far??
Is it just me or do these games lack excitement?. We are doing well in the swimming and the gymnastics, but the stadiums are less than full. Some are almost empty. Just some of my initial observations.
Maybe it is too expensive to attend, perhaps it is because cricket is also being played at the moment and we know how much the Indian people love their cricket.
Share your thoughts are you watching them,/ sort of flicking back and forth from them/not caring much about them at all. Not much else on tv right now, but I will continue to watch the swimming- of course after watching Packed to the Rafters first.

i have been watching the commonwealth games and have been enjoying it, however i am soooooo over the massive ammounts of adds they feel the need to wack in.
the netball girls done very well against samoa yesterday i was pleased by that.
and i'm not a big fan of that nick d'arcy swimmer bloke but i felt for him missing out in a race that was supposabley a given gold for him. guess it just proves that on the day nothings a given and you have to bring it to every event.

Oh I like the netball very much- the commentator with Liz Ellis, used to play AFL football with the Western Bulldogs- Luke Darcy and his dad played for us years back- he commentates the AFL on Channel 10 on either Saturday nights or Saturday afternoons (they alternate). I watch that and I watch the swimming and gymnastics.
