Carl podcasts

I don't really know where to put this, but I heard Carl on the radio this morning (Friday 7th December) at about 7.30, the interview was just finishing when I turned it on, so I don't really know what it was about but Michael Buble was on as well (via satellite I think because he said he was coming to Australia next year), and Merrick and Rosso asked Michael Buble about Carl being a potential threat to him and Harry Connick Jr. and then Carl and Michael Buble did a bit of a solo (It had to be you), and Michael Buble said that him and Carl would definitely catch up when he was in Australia and possibly do another duet (but a proper performance)! I didn't hear the whole interview though, but I'm trying to find a recording of it now so I'll let you know if I find it.. but I was just wondering if anybody else heard it?

How exciting! So great to know Buble wants to meet Carl. A duet between those two swingers would be amazing! Hope you find the recording.

I would pretty much die of happiness to hear Carl and Michael doing 'It Had To Be You'. It's one of my all time favourite songs ... so it might be a good thing that I didn't hear it! lol

I knew Buble will be here in June and i'm trying to get tickets... now that Carl might be in there too then thats a big bonus

that was classic hows michaels form telling carl to get as much lady action as possible and what happens on the road stays on the road.don't think rach would be to impressed by them comments, even i was a little put off by that and we all know i'm the gutter ghetto queen from the gong, so thats saying something.

Ummm - did you miss Carl's double entendre about the brass players being hits with the ladies? ('females' he said - must be from his time in the Navy) . . . something like 'how the lips produce the sound'? Of course Buble latched on to that and carried it from subtle to a Chaser's version of 'single-entendre'. Liked the subtlety Carl - keep it up. Have to admit though the thought has crossed my mind about brass players.

This interview is on the day after his exit, how come they only broadcast this yesterday...

Its cool how we got Connick (?) in US, Buble in Canada and Carl in Australia.... I can't imagin the three of them geting together, they'll take each other out to eliminate competition.

Oh thanks so much Clara!! I was so impressed with Carl being able to be so relaxed and chatty when Michael came on the line!! I know if it had been me talking to one of my heroes I might just about be able to stammer out a hello and that'd be it!! Carl sounded really classy and Angeo, I agree!! Carls more subtle joking around was absolutely hilarious!! And the song!!!!!! Oh wow....really although they were joking around, can you just imagine seeing them onstage together singing that song?!!! Yvonne? Do you live in Sydney? If so, I think I would be getting a ticket asap just in case!!
