Thanks Jodie. Well done getting all of the chat you being sick and all. I have to install Word on my new laptop before I can get copying them again.

Aw and now I've read through it I discovered Carl hadn't completely ignored me at all. I was so busy policing everyone's spelling and when I said 'you're booked Carl, spelling ticket' I totally missed him say 'I'm booked am I?' and then he fooled around typing random letters. So Wendy, Jodes, Amanda please go easy on him and don't break ALL his ribs when you hug him for me - and yes I'll allow you to sneak in a bit of affection and no need to inflict pain (unless he begs for it )

And as for grumpy me, I'll remember next time not to come on to the chat after a bad day at work

Okay I really need Carl to come on and chat - DESPERATELY!!!!

And I need a Carl album. Mothers Day came and all I got was Susan Boyle!

And I need tour dates! It's now May and there isn't a tour in sight. Get on with it Carl!

I asked Danae at RCM if she could give me a rough idea of when Carl's album will be released and touring dates. This is her reply:

Oh Jodes - my heart skipped a beat again. I think if Carl ever comes on here again, I shall cry like a dopey teenage girl. It's been so, so long I'm afraid I won't be able to control my emotions ... I'll probably flood my keyboard with tears and crash my laptop right there in the chatbox before even getting into the norty corner!

I'm trying to find out again on twitter if we can organise a chat - again no guarentees, Carl is a busy man, but we'll see what we can do :) :)

I can assure you he definitely hasn't, he's been busy, and he was sick last time we saw him.

Hes still on twitter every now and then, but apart from that I'd say he's just genuinely busy

Carl has agreed to join us for a chat at 8:30 PM (EDST) this Thursday, December 16th.

So how did it go yesterday? Did Carl have any specific news? I wish I could have been there instead of dreary rainy London. I must now go look at the remnants of the chat. . .

not a whole lot angeo, basically funding is the issue for not releasing another album becaue he's on he's own without the label or management behind him.
but he is looking to do a few gigs here and there.

Thanks Amanda. He has got determination. I hope he can get other backing to see this next album through. Wish I knew a way to help.
