My heart's beating just watching hunky Carl strolling through the city he is indescribably, off the planet GORGEOUS!!! Oh and when he looks straight into the camera .... oh mother! Be still my beating heart

I can' wait to get home to my computer to hear his voice as well.

Hi I've just joined - have loved Carl for ages and popped in for a look from time to timebut felt compelled to join up as I really want to follow what I think will be huge success outside Oz. The stillest hour is probably the loveliest thing I've heard in years and Carls treatment of it is exquisite. Just thought you might be interested it was written by Ford Turrell an alternative/indie composer from Michigan originally that Ive followed for a while. He writes the most beautiful lyrics.

I think Carls version is perfection and his arrangement is incredible.

Hi and welcome Jennywren. And thanks for the link and the info about Ford Turrell and The Stillest Hour. I must confess at first I assumed Carl had written it and I was attributing all those sweet lyrics to him. However, Kursaal on the forum here found an article that mentioned Ford so I had a listen. I agree Jen, Ford is well worth following and thanks to Carl's cover of this beautiful song people like me have discovered him.

I also have to confess I fell particularly in love with the lyrics 'eternity hangs on to the edge of a flower' and so it came as a blow to discover they weren't penned by my idol Carl after all. But I now give him full kudos for recognising the poetry in the words and singing them so sincerely.

I think this would be Ford's version Amby, as I had a look at the City Homicide website and episode 28 has been and gone, presumably long before Carl's single was released.

Ford's comment about Carl's 'sweet trumpet' is sweet.

aaaahhhhhhhh .....carl will be here on April 30 for CD signing 12:30pm at queen street mall and it's a b....y Thursday! i cannot make it......... aaahhhhhhhhhhhh ........and i called zuri bar asking about carl's appearance there on May 27 and they didn't even know about it they said there's no confirmation made yet... aaaahhhhhhhhhh ......and a competition for carl's CD at 4bh 882 started this afternoon 3:30pm and whoever will get thru the phone line will get carl's cd........not very keen as i don't have a problem buying carl's cd's but...here's the catch...whoever gets thru will be on the draw to have an exclusive high tea with carl at stamford plaza hotel...that's what i want!!!!!!!! aaahhhhhhhhh ......trying to dial since 3:30 and can't get thru
