Songs you'd like Carl to sing

What with his new album under development I thought we could contribute some songs we'd like to hear Carl sing.
I heard one on the radio today -

there's so many songs i would love to hear Carl sing i'm sure he will pick well once again, i can't wait for this next album. :-) <3

I wonder how he'd go doing 'Message of Love' by the Pretenders - swing style!? Love that song.

I'd love for him to incorporate Home into his live show - at least once hahaha. I loved when he did it on Idol.

Whew! Leon Jackson is something else! He's got quite a voice on him but he looks like Zac Effron. Actually reminds me a bit of JJ from the last idol. And he's Scottish too! (suitably impressed I looked him up on Wiki.)

thinking about it i'd a love to see carl do i cant help falling in love with you by elvis presley. such a soopy romantic and some what wedding singer song but i'm sure i'd melt hearing it.

I love that - reminds me of a certain night ..... late December when I was just 18 - what a very special time for me ... oh what a night ... you know I didn't even know his name ..

I'd like Carl to do 'You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To' Helen Merrill.

One of my favourite YouTubes I've uploaded of Carl is 'Jealous Guy'. He looks so hot and sings with such conviction and expression. Oh those eyes ... and he absolutely nailed it - I'd love him to put that on an album.

I agree wholeheartedly Angeo, I think it was one of the best he did on Idol.

I think his version would sound quite similar to Eran James' version (He's a young jazz musician who released a cover of Jealous Guy on his album about five years ago)

I think we should give him some of these suggestions next time he's on for a chat haha :)

Yes let's do that! In fact let's organise the next chat to the theme 'Tell Carl the songs you'd like to hear him sing and get his opinion on them'. And the only digression from the theme allowed would be the occasional traverse over to the norty corner (can't live without the norty corner )
