Oh... sigh... <sniffle>... I love the final 3 pics...my favourite is the one where Nats tucked under Carls armpit and Carl has his hand on the back of Matts neck... And they're just looking at Carl with such love and respect... especially Matt... Its made me all teary again!!!! And the special goodbye kiss with Marcia.. They said on the Grand Final night that Carls farewell was perhaps the most emotional one of the whole Aus Idol series and I agree so much with that!! He was such a wonderful Idol and won everyones hearts both at the Idol camp and all of us out here watching... I still have trouble watching his farewell video and the darn thing is the first vid that opens when you go into his fan section on the Idol website! I have to quickly click pause otherwise I get too upset!!! Thanks again lace for all the gorgeous pics!!!!

I love how as you look through the pictures you can see how much Carl has grown just over the space of 12 or so weeks. Everyone kept saying Carl would crash and burn... but our guy kept shining each and every week. I'm proud to be a Carl fan. He really did leave with bucket loads of charm and grace!

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't watch the farewell video Amby! Maybe one day... but not anytime soon!
